This is the first blog about staying at home as a mom. So a little about me: I left a job I loved to be at home with my wonderful toddler. Now, as I am not made of money, I also babysit another toddler to help make ends meet. My friends call it "twins by choice" although we could also call it "twins by necessity". Being at home is both wonderful and horrific torture and I needed a place where I could vent and connect with other Moms. As I type this my wonderful bundle of joy is removing all the books from my bookshelf and ripping off their covers. Soon I will leave my chair to go stop this behavior with a stern "no" and "these are mommy's books. Let's go find one of your books", but for now I am all yours.
So I do not have a degree in childcare, though I have lots of experience first hand! Feel free to comment, read, laugh, cry, and enjoy. Because they will only be this wonderful and horrific for a short while.
